THE WHOLE ENCHILADA-2 HOUR SHOW

Music,Fun & Games,Dancing Contests,Silly Magic Show, storytelling & Balloon Twisting
( Featuring 3 of my puppets, your choice)
N J will have his wacky music playing for 15 minutes before show to meet and greet the children and to have pictures taken with a puppet. The children will gather in a selected room for the fun and games and prizes (your selection of those listed) such as Hot potato, Big Foot Relay, swat the balloon, hang ups, dance contest, ect.
At this time the children are ready for a snack at the party table you set up, marched over by my assistant Eric to the 'freeze game', thats for a few minutes while we can sing a few childrens songs...while NJ plays some background music and sets up for the second part of the show...
Its now time to sit the children down and do a warm up to get the children into the mood for the magic show (Have no fear, N J had children of his own and knows that they can't sit too long in one place)
To make the party extra special he will choose a few children to assist him, but gives the special treatment to the birthday boy/girl and the silly magic, wearing a magic hat and vest (if your child is ultra shy he will not be forced to help, but will give him/her that special attention)All assistants will receive a certificate. The birthday child will receive extra special attention.
When the magic show is over:
N J will introduce the children to one of the puppets and do some riddles, tongue twisters or a twisted wacky fairytale (like Goldilocks and the three chickens)
And Finally
N J will make some balloonie toons for the kids or have them already made and Eric will hand them out.
Marching the kids back to the birthday party table for the cake:
Mom or Dad can light the Candles on the Cake: NJ, Eric and all the children sing the " Happy Birthday Song " We then thank the children and close up shop and say our good byes.

ADULT PARTIES

ONE HOUR SHOW

MY ONE HOUR PROGRAM COULD CONSISTS OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Music, Fun & Games, Dancing Contests to our wacky music, Silly Magic Show, Balloon Twisting & storytelling
I BRING WITH ME 2 OR 3 OF MY PUPPETS, YOUR CHOICE, ALWAYS ADDING NEW CHARACTERS
10 Minutes Prior to the Show: I will have music playing and I will be walking around greeting & taking pictures with the children. So have those cameras ready...
When the children are settled in, N J will start the show with a warm up to get the children ready.. then on with the show...a funny relay game with prizes and more wacky music. We have no losers in our games, everyone gets something... A few of our games might consist of Hot Potato, musical hats, big foot relay, balloon run relay, so ask me about the games and which ones you'd like, we have many to suit every style.The Dance contest (that fits the child's age)
N J will then sit the children down for a Short Magic Show..
( Don't worry NJ had Children of his own & knows they don't like sitting down too long )
To make the Party Extra Special
N J Invites the Birthday Boy/Girl to Assist him with his wacky Magic
The Birthday Boy/Girl will be presented with a certificate, wear a magicians hat and vest for assisting NJ as he performs some Magic (Only if they want, though he won't force them. If the birthday child is too shy he might select another)
and of course for performing their Magic they will Receive a Prize. This is done
before either making or handing out An array of different Colored Balloons
N J and one of his puppets will sing along with the rest of the children the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song...and the Birthday boy/girl and the audience will be lined up and then march the children to the table for the goodies to the freeze game...

BALLOONISTS-VENTRILOQUISTS-STORYTELLERS-CLOWNS- GAMES and MAGICIANS SUBMITS ARTICLES

Jay most all of my balloon twisting is geared toward children or women and children as that's where the market is in my opinion. I give most of my balloons a name such as "Penelope the pretty puple poodle puppy" say that fast 3 times. I usually like to add on what I call the extra balloon or EB. giving a puppy dog sunglasses etc. Call him an air-dale, a musician (yea, he's a pianist, the pianist dog i ever had! The main thing when twisting is to have fun, be energetic, many times I twist on my knees where I am at their eye level. I also, like to make alot of my balloons magical. that is done by squeezing a balloon, or blowing through the poodles mouth (after it is tied and twisted and making bubbles appear on their tail or where ever I need and extra bubble. A heart shaped balloon must never in my opinion be shown as a heart. I blow it up half way to where it looks round and show it round, then I put my finger in the middle of the balloon and then blow Voila! It magically turns into a heart shape, doing it that way never fails to get a reaction. Hope some of this helps. Have a ballooniful day! THE MOVIE DUMBSTRUCK

There aren't enough of these types of movies being shown, these days. But finally I got an opportunity, last year at the Vent Have Convention to view it. What a great opportunity it was. If you wish to see some of the greats of yesteryear, they are available on youtube. From the likes of Edgar Bergen, Paul Winchell, Shari Lewis to name just a few. If you remeber those vents, you so dearly loved, growing up, then go to the wayback machine known as youtube, enter that persons name and presto like magic, there they are once again, just like they were so many years ago. Today we have the like of Terry Fator and Jeff Dunham, Dan Horn who I have the priledge of calling friends. Terry and Dan are both in the Movie DUMBSTRUCK. At present the movie is only going to be shown in selected theaters in selected markets. I would think, the reason for this is these markets have the largest non mainstreamaudiences in the country. Hoping that it does well in these theaters. In any case if the movie fails in the theaters, it can then be put onto DVD. This saves the producers of the movie lots of money. Not that its cheap to produce DVDs, its not, they could and would cost the producers about 4-5 thousand dollars each. So let me tell you after viewing the movie, if your a fan of ventriloquism this movie is a must see. Its got some people familiar to many and some not known at all, it tells of the trials and tribulations of being a ventriloquist. Why they have chosen this form of entertaining Now I am hoping that the same thing is being thought of for Magic..Storytellers.Balloon Twisters or just the world of stand up entertainers.
